Ongoing Research

Epigenetic programming as an approach of introducing explicitly controlled gene expression in genetic programming,

Emergent properties of complex systems,

Interactions between ontogenesis (learning), culture and phylogenesis (evolution),

Evolution, adaptation and robustness of locomotion gaits of snake-like artifacts,

Learning probabilistic context-sensitive grammars for strongly-typed genetic programming.

Hobbies (beyond my work:-)

Hiking, photography, chess, RC cars and planes. Interested also in racing cars (design and aerodynamics) and fighters (design, aerodynamics, and avionics).
